Truck Accidents in Mississippi
Hundreds of accidents lead to fatalities every year in Mississippi. Though many of these collisions involve passenger vehicles, others involve large trucks and tractor-trailers. Truck drivers are known for being some of the safest drivers on our roads but this does not mean that every single truck accident will be prevented. Statistics taken recently show us that approximately 90% of truck accidents occur as a result of human error. Many of these accidents are preventable when drivers are paying close attention to what is happening around them. If you have lost a loved one in a truck accident and you are unsure about where to turn, it is essential that you speak with an attorney as soon as possible.
As you may or may not have found, truck accidents are some of the most complex accidents on our roads. One thing that is important to note is that many people struggle to name a liable party in these accidents. For instance, most will assume that a truck driver is to blame for an accident. However, an attorney will tell you that there are many other parties who may be liable including trucking companies, manufacturers, cargo loaders, and more. If you have lost a loved one in a Mississippi truck accident, it is essential that you have a skilled wrongful death attorney on your side.
