Aberdeen, MS – Marqueze Lawston Killed in Fatal Accident on US-45

Aberdeen, MS (October 26, 2020) – Around 12:46 a.m. on the morning of Sunday, October 25, a fatal accident took place on a major roadway in Aberdeen.

According to Monroe County officials, the accident took place when a Camry struck another vehicle head-on. The vehicles had been driving in opposite directions at the time of the accident.

One of the victims was identified as 22-year-old Marqueze Deonte Lawston who was a passenger in the Camry. He was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

All of the other victims involved in the accident were taken to the hospital with various injuries. The injured victim’s conditions are not yet known.

The roadway was blocked in multiple lanes around the scene of the crash.

Mississippi Highway Patrol officials continue its investigation into the accident at this time.
