New Albany, MS (October 3, 2020) – Around 5 p.m. on Friday night, October 2, an 18-wheeler collision with injuries occurred in New Albany.
Union County deputies confirmed that the accident took place when two 18-wheelers collided with each other in the westbound lanes of MS-30. Police are not sure about the circumstances that caused one of the truck drivers to lose control and crash into the other.

Our thoughts are with the injured victim and their family in hopes of a full recovery.
Truck Accidents in Mississippi
Truck accidents do not happen as commonly as many other accidents on our roads but, when they do happen, they are capable of causing some of the most traumatic harm. Approximately 90% of accidents that involve commercial trucks allegedly take place due to human error, which means that these accidents can be prevented when drivers abide by the rules of the road. Being injured in a serious truck accident in the state of Mississippi can leave you in a challenging position as you navigate the legal system. It is important that you have an attorney by your side who has handled claims like yours in the past and is dedicated to your claim.
There are many aspects that make truck collisions more complex than other accidents on our roads. Because trucks are some of the largest vehicles on our roadways, they are capable of causing some of the worst harm. On top of that, we do not always know who is liable for a truck accident right off the bat. Many people believe that truck drivers are always to blame but this is not the case. Some other parties who could be liable for your accident could include trucking companies, cargo loaders, manufacturers, and more. If you have suffered harm as a result of a Mississippi truck accident, you have many options.
