Oxford, MS – Car Accident with Injuries on Jackson Ave W

Oxford, MS (October 12, 2020) – Around 5:50 p.m. on Monday evening, October 12, a car accident with injuries took place in Oxford.

According to the Oxford Police Department, the collision took place at 1520 Jackson Avenue West in front of the local Rice and Spice. The accident involved two or more vehicles and led to extensive damages to the vehicles involved. Police have not yet confirmed the circumstances leading up to the accident.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were present at the scene of the accident where they helped those with injuries. The injured victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries. Their current conditions are not yet known.
