Oxford, MS (October 4, 2020) – Around 12:45 a.m. on Sunday morning, October 4, a multi-vehicle accident with injuries took place on a highway in Oxford.
Though few details have been released regarding the accident, it is believed that two or more vehicles collided at 2315 MS-6 (Jackson Avenue West) in front of the local Buffalo Wild Wings. Police have not yet confirmed what led up to the accident, though they have said that the vehicles involved were extensively damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were present at the scene of the accident to assist those with injuries. The injured victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
No further details have been released but the investigation into the accident continues.
