Coldwater, MS – Jeremy Moss Killed in Fatal Truck Accident on I-55

Coldwater, MS (September 23, 2020) – According to the DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office, 39-year-old Jeremy Moss was killed in a fatal truck accident in Coldwater.

Though few details have been released, police confirmed that he was traveling southbound on I-55 when his vehicle and an 18-wheeler became involved in a head-on collision with severe damages.

Paramedics and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene of the collision. Moss was the only person pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. It is not known if any other parties were injured.

The roadway was blocked in the area, which led to extensive delays for an extended period of time.

The Mississippi Highway Patrol continues its investigation into the accident.
