Oxford, MS (September 21, 2020) – Around 1:22 p.m. on Sunday, September 20, a car accident with injuries occurred in Oxford.
According to the Oxford Police Department, the accident took place in front of the Starbucks at 1804 Jackson Avenue. Police confirmed that the collision occurred when two or more vehicles collided in the area for unknown reasons, leading to a wide array of damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were present at the scene of the accident. They assisted one or more victims with injuries, though the extent of their injuries is not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area until the police were able to clear the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues at this time.
