Oxford, MS (September 9, 2020) – Around 7:27 p.m. last evening, September 8, a car accident with injuries took place in Oxford.
The accident, according to officials, took place when multiple vehicles collided on Sisk Avenue. It is believed that the vehicles were involved in a collision when one or more lost control for unknown reasons. The accident led to severe damages in the involved vehicles.
Paramedics, fire crews, and Oxford Police Department officials were dispatched to the scene of the accident where they assisted those with injuries. The injured victims were hospitalized as a result.
The roadway was blocked in multiple lanes of traffic for a period of time.
