Oxford, MS – Car Accident on Anderson Rd Leads to Injuries

Oxford, MS (September 18, 2020) – Around 7 p.m. on Thursday, September 17, a car accident with injuries occurred on Anderson Road in Oxford.

The Oxford Police Department confirmed that the accident took place at the Retreat at Oxford on 2405 Anderson Road. Police believe that two or more vehicles collided with each other in the area, leading to extensive damages.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were present at the scene of the accident. They assisted those with injuries, though the full extent of the injuries is not yet known.

The roadway was completely blocked in an area of the roadway for an extended period of time.
