Byhalia, MS (December 27, 2021) – On Monday morning, December 27, a multi-vehicle crash with injuries occurred in Byhalia.
According to local officials, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of I-269 around the area of Shinault Road. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other in the northbound lanes of traffic due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their identities and conditions are not yet known.
Due to the severity of the accident, a large portion of the roadway was blocked for some time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
