Oxford, MS (August 25, 2021) – At 6:50 p.m. on the evening of Tuesday, August 24, a car accident with injuries occurred in Oxford.
According to Oxford Police Department officials, the accident happened at 800 College Hill Road around the area of a park. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident sustained severe damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time as police cleared the scene.
The investigation into the accident continues at this time.
