Moss Point, MS (December 23, 2021) – At 2:23 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon, December 22, a car accident with injuries occurred in Moss Point.

According to officials, the accident happened at the intersection of I-10 and MS-613. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they allegedly entered the intersection at the same time, forcefully colliding with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged as a result of the accident.

Paramedics and numerous other local responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One party, who has not yet been identified, sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The victim was rushed to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.

Due to the severity of the collision, the roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for a period of time.
