Oxford, MS (December 12, 2021) – At 8:40 p.m. on the night of Saturday, December 11, a multi-vehicle crash with injuries occurred in Oxford.
According to Oxford Police, the accident happened on Thacker Loop. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene by tow trucks.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The injured parties were hospitalized, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
