Perkinston, MS (December 26, 2021) – At 5:50 p.m. on the evening of Saturday, December 25, an injury accident with injuries occurred in Perkinston.
According to officials, the accident happened at the intersection of MS-26 and Old MS-26. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident collided, which led to extensive damages to the vehicles involved.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The injured victims were hospitalized, though their conditions are not yet known.
Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
