Byram, MS (July 16, 2021) – At 5:30 p.m. on Thursday evening, July 15, a fatal train accident occurred on tracks in an unidentified area of Byram.
According to Hinds County officials, the incident took place in the evening hours. An Amtrak train was headed from New Orleans to Memphis and came into contact with a truck in the area.
