Oxford, MS (July 1, 2021) – At 12:49 p.m. on the afternoon of Tuesday, June 29, a multi-vehicle crash with injuries occurred in Oxford.
According to the Oxford Police Department, the accident happened on Price Street near the area of Vivian. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they suddenly collided due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the crash were badly damaged due to the accident.
Paramedics and numerous other local first responders were present at the scene. One or more victims were hospitalized with various injuries. Their identities and conditions are not known at this time.
Due to the severity of the crash, the roadway was completely shut down in the area for some time. Police urged those in the area to use alternate routes.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues at this time.
