Starkville, MS (July 13, 2021) – At 10 a.m. on the morning of Tuesday, July 13, a multi-vehicle collision with injuries occurred in Starkville.
According to the Starkville Police Department, the accident happened on MS-182 in front of the local Nesco. The crash happened over a hill in the area. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time as police cleared the scene.
No further details have been released regarding the collision. The investigation into the accident continues.
