Starkville, MS – Two-Car Accident on MS-12 Leads to Injuries

Starkville, MS (July 22, 2021) – At 5:22 p.m. on the evening of Tuesday, July 20, a two-car accident with injuries occurred in Starkville.

According to the Starkville Police Department, the accident happened on MS-12 in front of CSPIRE. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result of the accident. They had to be towed from the scene by tow trucks.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were hospitalized as a result of their injuries. Their identities and conditions are not yet known.

The roadway was blocked in several lanes for a period of time, which led to extensive delays.
