Starkville, MS (July 7, 2021) – At 2:29 p.m. on the afternoon of Tuesday, July 6, a two-car accident with injuries occurred in Starkville.
According to Starkville Police, the accident happened on MS-12 around the area of Zaxby’s. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not fully known. The vehicles involved in the collision received severe damages and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked for some time as police worked to clear the scene.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
