Starkville, MS (July 14, 2021) – At 2:25 p.m. on the afternoon of Wednesday, July 14, a two-car crash with injuries occurred in Starkville.
According to the Starkville Police Department, the accident happened at the intersection of MS-12 and Stark Road. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they allegedly entered the intersection at the same time. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged and removed from the scene by tow trucks.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not yet known.
The area was blocked at the intersection for a period of time. Police urged those in the area to use caution in the area.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
