Starkville, MS (July 21, 2021) – Before 7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 20, a two-vehicle crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Starkville.
According to Starkville Police Department, the accident happened at the intersection of Brooke Avenue and Greenbrier Street. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they allegedly entered the intersection at the same time. The vehicles involved in the crash were badly damaged as a result of the crash.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were hospitalized with injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area for a period of time as police cleared the scene.
Police continue their investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
