Oxford, MS (June 15, 2021) – At 8:35 p.m. on the night of Saturday, June 12, a car accident with injuries occurred on a roadway in Oxford.
According to the Oxford Police Department, the accident happened at 501 Bramlett Boulevard around the area of Chaney’s Pharmacy. Police confirmed that two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided due to unknown reasons. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were hospitalized with injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
