Oxford, MS (June 23, 2021) – At 6:16 p.m. on the evening of Monday, June 21, a tractor-trailer crash with injuries took place in Oxford.
According to the Mississippi Highway Patrol, the collision happened in the eastbound lanes of MS-30 around the area of Puskus Lake. A tractor-trailer and at least one other vehicle collided with each other in the area, which caused the truck to roll over forcefully. This led to extensive damages to the involved vehicles.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene. One or more victims were injured as a result of the crash, though their conditions are not yet known.
Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked for a period of time.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
