Starkville, MS (June 26, 2021) – At 5:33 p.m. on the evening of Friday, June 25, a car accident occurred at an intersection in Starkville.
According to the Starkville Police Department, the accident happened at the intersection of MS-12 and Stark Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, which led to extensive damages to the involved vehicles.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
The accident blocked a large portion of the intersection for an extended period of time until police cleared the scene.
No further details have been released. The investigation remains ongoing.
