Starkville, MS (June 29, 2021) – At 5:55 p.m. on the evening of Tuesday, June 29, a car accident with injuries occurred in Starkville.
According to the Starkville Police Department, the accident happened on North Long Street. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the crash were extensively damaged, one of which had head-on damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other local responders were called to the scene to help those with injuries. One or more victims were hospitalized with injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was completely blocked in the area for an extended period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
