Starkville, MS (June 17, 2021) – At 9 a.m. on the morning of Thursday, June 17, a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Starkville.
According to the Starkville Police Department, the accident happened at the intersection of MS-182 and Jackson Street. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they allegedly entered the intersection at the same time. The vehicles involved in the accident were left with extensive damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were hospitalized with injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was partially blocked at the intersection for a period of time as police cleared the scene.
No further details have been released. The investigation into the circumstances of the collision remains ongoing.
