Starkville, MS (June 27, 2021) – At 2 p.m. on the afternoon of Sunday, June 27, a two-vehicle collision with injuries occurred in Starkville.
According to the Starkville Police Department, the accident happened in the westbound lanes of MS-12 around the area of the local Sonic drive-in. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they forcefully collided due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals with injuries. Their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
