Starkville, MS (June 24, 2021) – At 5:44 p.m. on the evening of Tuesday, June 22, a two-vehicle collision with injuries occurred in Starkville.
According to the Starkville Police Department, the accident happened on North Jackson Street around the area of the local Subway. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to unknown reasons. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those with injuries. Several parties were hurt in the accident and taken to local hospitals for treatment.
The roadway was blocked in one or more lanes until police were able to clear the scene.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
