Starkville, MS (June 25, 2021) – At 1:27 p.m. on the afternoon of Friday, June 25, a two-vehicle crash took place at an intersection in Starkville.
According to the Starkville Police Department, the accident happened at the intersection of MS-12 and Louisville Street. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time. This caused the vehicles to forcefully collide, which led to extensive damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were present at the scene to help those with injuries. One or more victims were hospitalized with injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in one or more lanes in the area until police were able to fully clear the scene.
No further details have been released but the investigation into the accident continues.
