Starkville, MS (November 26, 2021) – At 9:43 a.m. on the morning of Friday, November 26, a two-vehicle crash occurred at an intersection in Starkville.
According to Starkville Police, the accident happened at the intersection of Highway 182 and Montgomery Street. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection simultaneously, colliding forcefully with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the accident. The injured parties were hospitalized, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for a period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
