Oxford, MS (October 3, 2021) – At 8:15 p.m. on the night of Sunday, October 3, a car accident with injuries occurred on a roadway in Oxford.
According to the Oxford Police Department, the accident happened at 415 South Lamar Boulevard in front of Spring Street Cigars. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured in the accident, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the accident for an extended period of time as police cleared the scene.
