Vicksburg, MS (November 30, 2022) – A car accident happened in Vicksburg on the morning of November 30 that required an emergency dispatch. Shortly before 8:00 a.m., the incident occurred on Interstate 220.
Reports indicate the wreck took place on I-220 past Robinson Road. What caused the incident to occur is still under police investigation at this time.
One or more people were hurt in the crash, however, the extent of their injuries remains unclear at this time. Paramedics treated them at the crash site and transported extensively injured patients to local hospitals as necessary.
Traffic delays ensued near Robinson Road on the interstate while crews worked to secure the area. Police directed local drivers to use different travel routes and exercise caution near the scene.
