Moss Point, MS (February 12, 2022) – Around 5:45 p.m. on Thursday evening, February 10, a truck accident with injuries occurred on a highway near Moss Point.
According to officers at the scene, the collision happened on Interstate 10 past Mississippi Route 613 to Moss Point and Exit 68 at Pascagoula.
Several responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. Several victims sustained injuries as a result of the collision. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment. Their identities and conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked at the intersection for a period of time. Police urged those in the area to avoid the intersection for some time.
No further details have been released. The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
