Oxford, MS (February 21, 2022) – On Monday evening, February 21, a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Oxford.
According to Oxford Police, the accident happened in the evening hours at the intersection of Jackson Avenue and Rebel Drive. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, forcefully colliding with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the collision. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment of unknown injuries.
Due to the severity of the collision, a large portion of the road was blocked for a period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
