Oxford, MS (February 22, 2022) – Injuries were reported in a car accident that took place on a major roadway on Monday night, February 21.

According to Oxford Police, the accident happened around 8:10 p.m. at 825 College Hill Road at the local Skymart. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not fully known. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment of unknown injuries.

Due to the severity of the accident, a large portion of the road was blocked for a period of time.
