Biloxi, MS – Fatal Wreck Takes Life of Rickey Latch on Hwy 67 near E Wortham Rd

Biloxi, MS (July 20, 2022) – A car wreck on the afternoon of Thursday, July 14 took the life of one man from Saucier. Officers with the Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to the scene at approximately 12:00 p.m. 

Rickey Latch, age 64, was headed north on Highway 67 in his Toyota 4 Runner. For reasons unknown, he collided with a Mack 600 driven by 50-year-old Roy Smith who was headed east on East Wortham Road. 

Information from police shows that Latch passed away due to the severity of his injuries. Authorities in Biloxi continue to investigate the details of the incident.
