Oxford, MS (July 7, 2022) – On June 30, a serious car crash happened in Oxford that required an emergency dispatch. At approximately 3:05 p.m., police and paramedics were called to the scene of an accident that resulted in injuries. 

Reports indicate that the wreck occurred on University Drive for reasons still being investigated by police. At least one person sustained injuries in the wreck, however, those involved have not been identified at this time. 

Numerous responders were dispatched to the crash scene to help those involved. One or more victims were transported from the scene to a local hospital in order to receive medical care for injuries. 

At this time, authorities in Oxford continue to investigate the details of the incident. Further details concerning the crash were not immediately available.
