Oxford, MS (July 27, 2022) – A car crash caused injuries in Oxford on the afternoon of July 27. Just before 4:00 p.m., the incident occurred on University Avenue. Multiple responders including police, EMTs, and fire crews were sent to assist at the crash scene.
Sources say the wreck occurred in the 1800 block of University Avenue near Walgreens Drug Store. The total number of vehicles involved in the accident has not been reported at this time.
At least one person was hurt in the collision. Paramedics rendered emergency aid to those involved and transported those in need of further care to local hospitals.
The involved individuals were not identified. Authorities in Oxford continue to investigate the details of the incident.
