Oxford, MS (July 8, 2022) – A serious car accident happened in Oxford on Friday, July 8. Sources say the wreck occurred at approximately 4:00 p.m. and required an emergency dispatch.
According to reports, the incident took place on Belk Boulevard for reasons still under police investigation. At least one person was hurt in the accident and required emergency assistance at the scene.
Traffic delays ensued in the area while responders worked to secure the crash site. Police asked local drivers to use different routes for the time being.
