Oxford, MS (July 12, 2022) – At approximately 1:45 p.m., on July 12, responders were sent to the scene of a car accident in Oxford. The collision happened between an unspecified number of vehicles on University Avenue.
Sources say the wreck took place in the 1300 block of University Avenue near Newks Eatery. What led up to the accident is unknown at this time.
At least one victim was treated on-site for injuries and transported to an area hospital for further care. The involved individuals were not identified to the public.
Authorities in Oxford continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
