Batesville, MS (June 29, 2022) – Emergency crews were sent to the scene of a serious car crash in Batesville on the evening of June 24, Friday. Injuries were confirmed as a result of the accident.

Various responders were seen at the crash site located on MS-6 near Macedonia Road helping those with injuries. Reports indicate the accident happened at around 5:39 p.m.

Police in Batesville continue to investigate the details of the incident. EMS crews rendered emergency aid to the injured victims at the crash scene. One or more injured victims were loaded into ambulances and transported to area hospitals for treatment as necessary. 

The names of those involved have not been released at this time. We hope for the full and fast recovery of those with injuries.
