Oxford, MS (June 9, 2022) – A car crash was reported to police in Oxford on the evening of June 9. At around 5:15 p.m., sources say the wreck happened on University Avenue. 

According to reports, the incident occurred on University Avenue near Kroger for reasons still being investigated by police. At least one person was hurt in the accident. 

Police continue to work to determine what caused the wreck. One or more victims were treated on-site for injuries. At least one person was transported from the scene to an area hospital for treatment. 

The current health conditions of those with injuries have not been reported.
