Oxford, MS (July 14, 2022) – A serious car wreck happened just before 7:00 p.m. in Oxford on June 9. Police say the incident occurred on University Avenue.
According to information from preliminary reports, the accident took place in the 2500 block of University Avenue near University Ave Storage. How many vehicles were involved in the crash has not been reported at this time.
Responders including police and paramedics were sent to assist at the scene. At least one person was hurt in the accident. Injured parties were treated at the site of the collision before being transported to area hospitals for treatment.
Police in Oxford continue to investigate the details of the wreck.
