Oxford, MS (June 2, 2022) – A car wreck resulted in injuries and road closures on June 1. At approximately 12:40 p.m., responders were sent to the scene to help those involved. 

According to reports, the incident occurred on Price Street between an unknown number of vehicles. Many lanes of the roadway were closed while responders were at the scene. 

At least one person involved sustained injuries, sources said. Paramedics rendered emergency aid to those who were hurt before transporting extensively injured patients to local medical centers for treatment. 

Local police continue to investigate the details of the incident. No further details have been released at this time.
