Car wrecks occur when motorists are negligent while behind the wheel. Failing to obey traffic signals, drunk driving, and speeding are all common examples of negligent driving. Car crashes involving reckless drivers happen constantly. The National Highway Transportation Safety Administration reports that 94 to 96% of auto collisions are caused by driver error. These wrecks put thousands of Mississippi residents in the hospital every year.
If you or someone you love was hurt in a car crash that happened because of a reckless, careless, or negligent driver, you may qualify for financial compensation. Filing a claim for damages by yourself may be challenging due to the legal system in Mississippi being founded on comparative blame. Whenever they can, insurance companies attempt to reduce financial compensation and even deny claims. Even if you know another person caused your accident, the insurance company will most likely try to blame you so they can save money. Unfortunately, the insurance company never has your best interest in mind.
After a car wreck, a car crash attorney will be available to anyone who wants to file a claim for compensation to protect their legal rights. You may be wondering how you are going to pay for all of the expenses associated with your recent collision. Your lawyer can help you file a claim so you can get compensation for medical care, wage loss, and other damages. When you or someone you love is hurt in an accident, you should call a personal injury attorney as soon as you can.
