Oxford, MS (June 3, 2022) – On the afternoon of June 1, a car wreck happened in Oxford that required an emergency dispatch. At approximately 12:35 p.m, responders were sent to the scene to assist those involved. 

At the crash site, located in the 500 block of Merchants Driver near Marshalls, at least one person was in need of medical attention. Paramedics rendered aid to those involved at the crash site. 

Victims with extensive injuries were transported to local medical centers as needed. Their names have not been released at this time. 

Police in Oxford continue to investigate the circumstances of the incident.
