Oxford, MS (June 11, 2022) – On the afternoon of June 10, emergency responders were sent to the scene of an injury wreck in Oxford. The incident was reported to officials in the area at approximately 1:30 p.m.

Local sources report that the crash happened on MS-328 near MS-7 between an unknown number of vehicles. What led to the wreck remains under police investigation at this time. 

According to information from officials, one or more individuals required emergency medical care on-site. The total number of injured victims who were transported to the hospital was not reported. 

All lanes of MS-328 were closed while responders worked at the scene. Traffic delays ensued in the area for some time on June 10 while responders were present. 

Local police continue to investigate the circumstances of the incident. No further information has been reported.
