Oxford, MS (June 24, 2022) – Emergency crews were dispatched to the scene of a car accident in Oxford on Thursday, June 23. Reports concerning the incident were made to authorities at around 7:15 a.m. 

Emergency personnel was seen at the crash site located along Creekmore Boulevard shortly after the collision occurred. Paramedics rendered emergency medical aid to those with injuries. 

At this time, how many people were hurt in the accident has not been reported. Police in Oxford continue to investigate the circumstances of the collision. 

Delays in traffic were observed near the wreck site for some time on the morning of June 23. Local drivers were asked to use different travel routes for the time being.
