Oxford, MS (March 19, 2022) – On Saturday evening, March 19, a car crash with injuries took place on a roadway in Oxford.
According to the Oxford Police Department, the accident happened at 105 Ed Perry Boulevard in front of the Towneplace Suites Marriott. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not entirely known. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged as a result.
Several responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment, though their conditions are not known at this time.
The roadway was blocked in front of the hotel for some time as police worked to clear the scene.
