Jackson, MS (May 30, 2022) – A car crash caused injuries in Jackson on May 21, Saturday. At approximately 1:11 p.m., the wreck happened near the intersection of US-51 and West County Line Road. 

Police and paramedics were dispatched to the scene to help those involved. As a result of the incident, police restricted all northbound lanes. Emergency responders worked to help those with injuries at the crash site. 

The total number of injured victims has not been reported at this time. At least one person was loaded into an ambulance and transported to an area hospital for treatment. 

Police continue to investigate the details of the wreck. No further details have been reported at this time.
